The Beatitudes: Simple words, with profound meaning.
There are many things that Sacred Scripture tell us to do and along with many things not to do. We have been given the Ten Commandments and the Great Commandment. But the Beatitudes are a surefire blueprint for a way of life that will lead us to be true Intentional Disciples. As Pope Francis once said the Beatitudes are the “the Christian’s identity card.” Inspired by the words of the Beatitudes and the essence of summertime, I have created a new cover series. Here are the first three in a new series of nine facebook cover images which I will be sharing over the next few days.
Be sure to check Embedded Faith on facebook for all the "extra" covers which were created but not used for this series.

I missed a few months in my series for First Fridays with Francis (fifty lashes with a wet noodle for me!). But I plan to make up for it! I have been busy creating lots of new graphics for the upcoming months.
I hope you enjoy these 6 new social media images made using some of my favorite Pope Francis tweets (from @Pontifex). I hope you will come back for the next few months of First Fridays with Francis as I promise to have lots more. Cyndi
Today's inspiration came from a design challenge made in a Google+ group that I am part of. If you are a regular user and lover of Canva - you might want to join us on Google+ at Cana Love: Visual Marketing Tools, Tips + Tricks, hosted by Lillian De Jesus at Tigerlilly Virtual Assistance.
One of the group members, Hannie, asked group members to create something in Canva using this quote:
I am always up for a creative challenge or a special request. Just hit me up!

Remember, "Tweetspiration Thursday" creations are sized perfectly for tweeting, but they post well on Facebook and Google+ (and more). So happy sharing!
While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is my body." Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many. Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God." Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
