The Triduum - by Special Request
By special request of Pilar D. I have created a set of covers for the Triduum (The three days of Holy Week: Specifically Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil)
The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum—from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ's Paschal Mystery.
The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season, and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil
You will see two options for some of the images. This is done so that the text fits and shows on the different covers used on Facebook pages. A personal Facebook page has the person's profile image in the left bottom corner of the person's cover image, and a business page has the profile image separate and off to the left side. Thus, for the images of Good Friday and Easter Vigil - one of them has the text pushed to the right to fit a personal Facebook page and one is more centered for a business page. Here's a little hint for you- the one with the centered text is also great to use on twitter as a general "tweet" or on a blog (or wherever your heart takes you!)
If you are looking some different Holy Week images - I recommend last year’s Holy Week set. These are one of my all time personal favorites and I feel they are great to use every year.
