For the third Sunday of Lent readings I have chosen to look at the Responsorial Psalm for the day for the cycle C readings. This is one of my very favorite psalms. I have both a facebook cover (which will double as a timeline post on facebook, twitter or google+) and I have a social media sized image great for sharing on Instagram or any social media platform. If you are using Cycle A readings for the Scrutinies you can check out the cover and image I created previously for cycle A readings here (go to the bottom of the post for the Cycle A readings) Keep coming back each week of Lent for a new set of images and especially be sure to come back just before Holy week as I will have a cover and image for each of the days of Holy Week -Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter. I hope you are having an excellent Lent! #excelLENT There are BONUS covers and images that will be made available only on my Facebook page, so be sure to like me there! ![]()
Responsorial PsalmPS 103: 1-2, 3-4, 6-7, 8, 11
R. (8a) The Lord is kind and merciful. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. R. The Lord is kind and merciful. He pardons all your iniquities, heals all your ills, He redeems your life from destruction, crowns you with kindness and compassion. R. The Lord is kind and merciful. The LORD secures justice and the rights of all the oppressed. He has made known his ways to Moses, and his deeds to the children of Israel. R. The Lord is kind and merciful. Merciful and gracious is the LORD, slow to anger and abounding in kindness. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him. R. The Lord is kind and merciful.
